Contact
The fastest way to reach us is email: support@kai-hana.com
We typically reply within 1–2 business days. Please include:
- The app name (e.g. RateGlance).
- Your device model and iOS/Android version (e.g. iPhone 15 Pro, iOS 18.4).
- The app version (Settings → About in-app, once that screen ships; otherwise the version shown in the App Store).
- A short description of what happened, plus a screenshot if relevant.
Common questions
How fresh are the rates?
The displayed rates come from the European Central Bank’s daily reference rates, fetched via the Frankfurter API. ECB publishes a single set of rates each business day at roughly 16:00 CET. There are no updates on weekends or ECB holidays — Saturday and Sunday show Friday’s numbers.
Our backend re-checks the rate hourly to deliver alerts, but the underlying number only changes once per business day.
My alert hasn’t fired even though the rate crossed my target.
A few things to check:
- Free tier alerts run on your device while the app is online. If your phone has been offline, asleep, or the app has been force-quit for an extended period, the local check may have missed the crossing. Reopen the app — we’ll check again immediately.
- Pro tier alerts are checked hourly on our server, even when the app is closed. If you’re on Pro and an alert hasn’t fired within an hour of the crossing, please email us.
- The rate the alert is checked against is the daily ECB reference rate, not an intraday market price. A target that was briefly hit on a market data feed may not have been hit at the ECB fix.
How do I get RateGlance Pro?
Settings → “Upgrade to Pro” or any ”+ NEW ALERT” button when you’ve hit the free-tier alert cap. RateGlance Pro is a one-time purchase (the current price is shown in the app and on the store) — there’s no subscription. If you delete and reinstall the app, tap Restore Purchases in Settings.
I bought Pro but it’s still showing as Free.
This applies to Pro on any of our apps:
- In the app’s Settings, tap Restore Purchases. Your purchase will reattach to the device.
- If that doesn’t work, make sure you’re signed into the same store account — the Apple ID (iOS) or Google account (Android) — that made the original purchase.
- Still stuck? Email us with your store receipt: on iOS, the email receipt from Apple (or App Store → Purchase History); on Android, Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Budget & order history. We’ll sort it out.
I want a refund.
In-app purchases are sold and refunded by Apple or Google, not by us:
- iOS / App Store: open the App Store → tap your profile → Purchase History → tap the app → “Report a Problem” → “Request a refund” (or visit reportaproblem.apple.com).
- Android / Google Play: open the Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Budget & order history → tap the order → “Request a refund” (or visit play.google.com/store/account).
Apple or Google makes the final call.
What does a “lifetime” purchase mean?
Where one of our apps offers a one-time “lifetime” unlock, you pay once and keep the paid features — no subscription, no recurring charge. “Lifetime” means the lifetime of that app or service — for as long as we operate and offer it — not your personal lifetime. A lifetime unlock applies to the app you bought it in (not our other apps), and any feature that depends on a service we run would end if that service were ever discontinued.
I want my data deleted.
It depends on the app, because most of ours keep your data on your device:
- Kaia, AutoPilot, and Crescent run entirely on your device. Uninstalling the app deletes everything — there’s nothing on our servers to remove.
- AllDay is on-device too, except for any list you’ve shared. Leave or delete the shared list inside AllDay — that clears it from our server and (on Android) from the Google Block Store backup. Note that on Android a plain uninstall doesn’t remove a shared-list membership, since it’s restored on reinstall; leaving the list is the reliable way to remove it.
- ClearCast only stores anything on our server if you turned on notifications. Turn notifications off in the app (which clears your row) or uninstall.
- RateGlance keeps a per-device random UUID and, for Pro users, your alert configurations on our backend. Email support@kai-hana.com describing the device and we’ll remove it.
- Until is on-device except for events you’ve shared. Rotating an event’s invite code cuts off access immediately, but the shared copy stays on our server — email support@kai-hana.com with the event name and we’ll delete it.
- Inkpaw is on-device except for a household you’ve shared. Leave or delete the household in Inkpaw to clear its synced records and reminders from our server, or email support@kai-hana.com. Your photos are never uploaded, so they only ever live on your device.
- AdWall keeps no DNS query history — the resolver filters in memory and stores nothing. The only data tied to your install is a subscription identifier and access token on our licensing server; cancel your subscription and uninstall, or email support@kai-hana.com, and we’ll remove it.
For anything you can’t clear yourself, email support@kai-hana.com and we’ll handle it.
I have a feature request.
Please send it to support@kai-hana.com. We read every email, even when we can’t reply individually.
Does AllDay work offline?
Yes. AllDay is on-device by default — your tasks, lists, and a cache of your calendar live only on your phone. The only time it uses the network is when you create or join a shared list, which syncs through our server so the people you share with stay up to date. If you never share a list, AllDay makes no network requests.
Does AllDay change my calendar?
No. AllDay reads your device calendar to show events next to your tasks, but it never creates, edits, or deletes calendar events.
How do shared lists work, and how do I remove that data?
When you share a list, the tasks in that list (titles, dates, completion) plus the display name you choose sync to our server so collaborators can see updates. There’s no account — just a random per-device ID and a token stored securely on your phone. To remove the data, leave or delete the shared list inside AllDay; that clears it from the server. Tasks in lists you haven’t shared never leave your device.
How do I get AllDay Pro?
AllDay Pro unlocks recurring tasks, unlimited lists, shared lists, home-screen widgets, and weekly/monthly briefings. It’s available as a one-time lifetime unlock or an annual subscription, purchased through the App Store or Google Play; the current price is shown live in the app. If you reinstall, use Restore Purchases.
How does Until event sharing work?
Sharing an event generates a 6-character invite code that works for 24 hours. Anyone you give the code to within that window can follow the countdown and co-edit it live; the event’s fields and background photo sync through our server while it’s shared. Rotate the code from the event’s share screen at any time — it mints a fresh code (with a new 24-hour window) and the old one stops working immediately. Events you never share stay entirely on your device.
How does Inkpaw family sharing work?
Family sharing (part of Inkpaw Plus) lets you create a household and invite family or a pet-sitter with a single-use code that expires after 72 hours. Once someone joins, your pets’ records and reminders stay in sync across everyone’s devices, so the whole household sees the latest vet visit or medication. Only that record and reminder data syncs — your photos never leave your device, and no email or account is needed. Leave or delete the household to stop syncing and clear its data from our server. If you use Inkpaw solo, nothing is ever uploaded.
How does AdWall block ads without a browser extension?
Mobile browsers don’t allow extensions, so AdWall works one level down — at DNS. You paste a single hostname into Android’s Private DNS; an optional companion app gives you a one-tap toggle. After that, ad, tracker, and malware domains resolve to nothing in Chrome and every app. Note that AdWall can’t hide an ad served from the same domain as the page (so first-party ads on sites like YouTube remain), and another active VPN will bypass it (Android runs only one VPN at a time).
Does AdWall see my browsing history?
No. When protection is on, your DNS lookups are sent encrypted to our resolver, which checks each domain against blocklists and answers — all in memory. Nothing is logged or stored, and lookups aren’t tied to your identity, so there’s no history for us (or anyone) to read. The resolver only ever sees that a domain was queried for a moment in order to filter it; it never sees the contents of the pages you visit. Full detail is in the privacy policy.
