Terms of Use
Last updated: September 19, 2026.
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are the end-user licence agreement (EULA) between you and KAI HANA LLC (“Kai Hana,” “we,” “us”) for every app we publish. By downloading, installing, or using one of our apps, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use the apps.
These Terms sit alongside the Privacy Policy, which explains what data each app handles.

When we ship new apps, we’ll add them here.
Your licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use our apps on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. The apps are licensed, not sold.
You may not: resell, rent, or sublicense an app; reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble it except where law expressly permits; strip or alter attribution or licence notices; or use an app to break the law or to interfere with anyone else’s systems.
Where an app is distributed through the App Store or Google Play, that store’s own terms also apply. If Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to your download, these Terms apply in addition to it; where the two genuinely conflict, Apple’s terms govern that point, and Apple is a third-party beneficiary entitled to enforce them. Apple and Google are not responsible for the apps, for support, or for any claim relating to them.
Prices, purchases, and subscriptions
Every price is set and displayed by Apple or Google in your own currency, and shown live inside the app. We publish no prices on this site; the store is the source of truth.
One-time unlocks. RateGlance Pro, Kaia Pro, ClearCast Pro, AutoPilot Pro, and Crescent Pro are one-time purchases. AllDay Pro, Until Pro, AdWall Pro, and Inkpaw Plus also offer a one-time “lifetime” option alongside their subscriptions.
What “lifetime” means. You pay once and keep the paid features, with no recurring charge. “Lifetime” means the lifetime of that app or service — for as long as we operate and offer it — not your personal lifetime. A lifetime unlock applies only to the app you bought it in, not to our other apps.
Auto-renewing subscriptions. AllDay Pro (monthly or annual), Until Pro (monthly), AdWall Pro (monthly or annual), and Inkpaw Plus (monthly or annual) are offered as auto-renewing subscriptions. For these:
- Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically at the same price for the same period, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription any time in your store account settings — iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Android: Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep the paid features until the end of the period you already paid for; we don’t pro-rate part-periods.
Free trials and introductory offers. Where we offer one, it is advertised only to accounts the store says are eligible, and the full terms — trial length, the price that follows, and the renewal period — are shown before you buy. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
Refunds. Purchases are made from Apple or Google, not from us, so refunds are theirs to grant. See the steps on our Support page. We’ll help where we can, but the store makes the final call.
Restoring purchases. Use Restore Purchases in the app’s settings, signed into the same store account that made the purchase.
Your content and your automations
Your tasks, events, pet records, notes, automations, and photos are yours. We claim no ownership of them. Most of our apps keep this content on your device; where a feature syncs it (a shared AllDay list, a shared Until event, an Inkpaw household), you are responsible for who you share it with, and you grant us only the limited permission needed to transmit and store it for that feature. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what leaves your device.
Two apps deserve their own note:
- AutoPilot runs automations you author, including an optional HTTP-request action that sends data to a URL you choose. You are responsible for what your automations do and where they send data.
- AdWall filters DNS on your device. You are responsible for any allow/block rules you add and for any app you exempt from filtering.
No professional advice
Our apps are tools, not advisers. In particular:
- RateGlance shows European Central Bank daily reference rates, which are indicative and published once per business day. They are not live market rates, not a quote, and not financial advice. Don’t trade on them.
- ClearCast is not a substitute for official warnings. For severe weather, always follow your national weather service and local emergency authorities.
- Crescent is a relaxation and breathing tool, not a medical device or treatment. Breathing exercises are not suitable for everyone. Talk to a doctor before starting if you are pregnant or have a heart, lung, blood-pressure, or anxiety condition, and stop if you feel dizzy or unwell.
- Inkpaw is a record-keeping tool. It is not veterinary advice and its reminders are not a substitute for professional care. Always consult your vet.
- Kaia runs a language model that can be wrong. Check anything that matters before acting on it.
- AdWall blocks known ad, tracker, and malware domains from published blocklists. No blocker catches everything, and it is not antivirus. Keep your device and browser updated.
Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue an app or a supporting service at any time — including a feature that depends on a server we run. We’ll give notice in the affected app’s release notes where we reasonably can. Our apps need your device’s OS and, for some features, a working network connection; we don’t guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent the law allows, the apps are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions don’t allow these exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Kai Hana will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or lost savings, arising from your use of the apps. Our total liability for any claim relating to an app will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for that app in the 12 months before the claim, or USD $50. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Termination
This licence ends if you stop using and delete the apps, or if you break these Terms. Ending it does not entitle you to a refund from us; store refunds remain Apple’s or Google’s to decide.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that isn’t resolved by emailing us first goes to the state or federal courts located in California, and you and Kai Hana agree to their jurisdiction.
If you live outside the United States, this does not take away any consumer-protection right your own country’s law gives you that cannot be waived by agreement. If a court finds any part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
Children
Our apps are not directed at children under 13, and you must be old enough to make a purchase in your jurisdiction — or have a parent or guardian’s permission — to buy anything in them.
Changes to these Terms
We’ll update these Terms when our apps change in ways that affect them. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent change, and material changes are announced in the affected app’s release notes. Continuing to use an app after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
